New Orleans > Shreveport

‘Bama fans hoping their school would make its third straight trip to the Independence Bowl in Shreveport, La., were disappointed Sunday when The Tide accepted a Sugar Bowl bid.

Old habits die hard. Cheer up…an argument can be made that New Orleans is a little bit better than Shreveport. Here’s a few of the reasons the Big Easy is better than the Big Sheezy:

    Oh this is sooooooo funny and just the hit I needed right when I needed it.

    We have been watching in deep trepidation and hell breath as town after town in Louisiana becomes a city, no longer in the twinkling shadows of New Orleans, to longer looking to the Big Easy for a Fix.
    Ah, the drug of tradition.
